1 cup almonds (or other nuts) ½ teaspoon salt splash of water
Preheat the oven to 130°C. Place the nuts, salt and water in a bowl and mix well. There should be just enough water to allow the salt to stick to the nuts. Put the nuts on a baking tray and cook in the oven for about 10–15 minutes. Continually toss the nuts every 3–4 minutes to achieve an even color. Cool before placing in a container.
