Soft-boiled egg

Ingredients

1 egg 1 slice of ‘Rye bread’ (see pg. 38) Flaky salt and black pepper 1 spoonful of ‘Whipped butter’ (see pg. 40)

Method

1. Gently place the egg into boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. 2. Toast the rye bread. 3. Remove the egg from the hot water and drop it into cold water. 4. Take out the cooled egg and place it in an egg cup. 5. Knock the top off the shell and eat immediately with a dash of flaky salt and black pepper. Enjoy with our toasted rye bread and a spoonful of whipped butter.
